My name is Theodore, and I have been working with tile for almost 10 years. I began an apprenticeship in San Diego with a small family business in 2016, and quickly fell in love with setting tile and grouting. My skills grew over the next 6 years as I took on more responsibility in the company. After moving to Colorado Springs in late 2022, I was hired by a tile and grout maintenance and refurbishing company. Instead of the large scale remodels and new builds that I previously worked on, I worked in peoples homes to make their existing tile and grout look new. While I occasionally set new tile, the majority of the work done was cleaning, sealing, replacing grout and caulk, resetting loose or broken tiles, and rebuilding water damaged walls. Most tile is extremely resilient and can often be made to look very good or new, even if it has been neglected for years. Now, having moved to Bangor, I want to help people get their new tile set and old tile back into working order. Grout and Caulk Replacement
Removal and replacement of old, soft, moldy, or otherwise damaged grout and caulk can make an incredible difference in the apperance of your shower or floor.

Cleaning and Sealing
Grout can be cleaned and sealed to extend its life or change its color. Stone and cetain tiles need sealed periodically to prevent water absorption. Some sealers can be applied to give the tile a sheen or “wet look” if desired as well.

Tile Replacement
Loose tiles can usually be reset, and broken tiles can be replaced.

Grout Staining
Grout can be stained or dyed to restore or change the color.

Tile Setting
I have years of experience setting tile for fresh builds as well as large and small scale remodels.

Waterproofing
I can make your shower waterproof with Kerdi, Redguard, or a system of your choosing.

Demo and Prep
I will remove and dispose of your old tile and drywall, backer board or cement. I can also install uncoupling and crackproofing membranes such as Ditra and Redguard.

Epoxy Grout
Epoxy grout has the best water resistance and longevity of any grout. Many tile setters shy away from it due to its difficulty to use and handle. However, I have years of experience using different epoxy grouts and prefer them to other specialty grouts due to their superior performance.
Before and Afters
Here are just a handful of some of the hundreds of jobs I have done over the last few years. These have all been done by myself, and range from regrouts, to rebuilding water damaged walls, to epoxy grout, and caulking. Most were completed in one 6-10 hour day of work.
